1. Review account details

Confirm the terminal is connected to the correct account and check its currency, balance and account type.

2. Verify the starting account balance

A detected historical deposit is only a suggestion, not proof of the original prop-firm account size. Confirm the correct starting value from your provider's documentation.

3. Match your firm's drawdown rules

Choose the appropriate daily and maximum drawdown models, reference values and daily reset time. Check the latest rules for your specific account.

4. Review thresholds and configure alerts

Inspect calculated levels and choose notifications. Free does not place, modify or close trades.

5. Run monitoring

Keep MetaTrader 5 running and connected. Monitoring can be interrupted by terminal shutdown, disconnection or missing account data.
